A table filled with notebooks of all different sizes, a sketchbook that is half filled, half torn apart from using the wrong mediums on it’s thin paper. Spanish guitar is playing in the background. Seagulls are singing and the sky is more grey than ever.
How are you doing? It has been almost three months since I have been here, life is so fast and crazy, filled with sleeplessness, exhaustion, precious moment and growth., following the flow I feel from the inside, in every single thing.
I put Daniel to his first nap and came to the studio, I sat in front of my table, I missed it here, random words, music, so here i am. trying to write an “update” to how my world looks like now.
Watching your baby growing up is the most amazing thing you can experience, it is so strange, so strange beyond all description, to feel the time passing and not feeling it at all as well.
Days are both long and short, mornings are both calm and so loud, nights are both sleepless and so relaxing. home is so warm, everything is organized in the perfect mess possible.
The minute days start to look the same and I start to feel some kind of routine, is also the same time for Daniel to go on another milestone or growth spurt that will change it all upside down.
Creative wise, my studio is still my harbor, the perfect mirror to escape all the chores and dive into my own chaos, one day I am filling a whole notebook in words, the other day I am starting three paintings at once, filming, documenting and taking lots of pictures, maybe I will I will look back to it one day. It is so challenging, finding my self under such pressure and lack of time, but comforting in a way. The feelings, the unknown, the observations, it will take me a place I know. I have become extremely expressive which is ok I guess, it is keeping me sane.
wishing you a good day, stay safe.
I love the way you write and describe everything , Beside the inspiring acrylic paintings .
I miss reading your blogposts the most these days and I’m glad you had sometime to write here again.
Wishing you a great and safe days as well
