Finally my kid and I can finally set down and paint, focusing, relaxing and just bonding with no talk. I have always been painting with my kids since the first time i could after giving birth, but to do acrylic painting, without being distracted at all, and silently for at least half an hour, is something i longed for, now that my older kid is 5, we can finally do that sort of thing and it made me beyond happy, him as well as he said. He is becoming so excited to paint and eager to learn and he often asks me how to get a specific color and how to mix and blend, I try not to expain or teach him much at this age anyways but it always excites me his love to learn and do art.
We were alone in that morning, i prepared a similar pallet for him as mine using the paints i normally use( he was thrilled he is able to use”adults paint” as he likes to call it:) .)
we just painted mindlessly, I have been wanting to do a snowy landscape series because I just miss snow days like nothing else, maybe this is the start of it.
