Hide me inside a sea shell and leave me to be forgotten,
Let me just be myself with all the waves
Hearing no sound,
Seeing no color,
Moving all feelings,
In an ocean alone, never isolated,
In the middle of the day,
At the surface of water where everything is floating free,
Nothing can pull me down,
Nothing can raise me up,
Lightweight and safe I’ll be.
The sun takes a deep breath and send it my way,
Now my bones and cells are filled with moments lived under it’s rays
I turn away, eyes closed, mind in harmony
Away from all disturbance, in a world of my creation
For a moment this is the place I want to be till eternity.
When I open my eyes,
I know the kind of crashing waves I will be surrounded by,
They will hide away the sun,
Wash away it’s warmth,
My heart may shiver
The way it always do when the moon appears
Yet deep within I know,
This safe place, it is only safe because my eyes where once opened
I must open my eyes to witness a new miracle,
Again and again,
The sun will always come out to take me back to those magical places.
And the waves,
The waves will be waiting to meet me again, wash off the struggles
Always ready to lift me up,
To feel anew.
