A while ago I started using this old Canon film camera we had and I can’t express enough how much I love it already. Everything in it, the thrill I feel when I realize I only have one shot left to make it perfect, The patience it needs to capture the right moment, the excitement of having the film developed and printed, and the disappointing results you may encounter with some of the shots. Every single detail, I think i found a new hobby.
Here is the result of the recent film I got just yesterday,
Let me know what you think 🙂
Hi Rim,
Well , they are all awesome and beautiful shots and I love them all♥️. I also love your photos which you posted on your Instagram account and I always wanted to ask how could you take such a great photos ,which kind of camera did you use, how you edit them and so on 😅 but I prefer to search that and try it by myself first before asking . Sometimes , it’s turn out good, sometimes not. The most difficult thing is how to take a good photo of my sketch even when it’s much more in controlled than taking photos for moments outside. I wondering if you can one day write a detailed blog post about that , of course in your perspective view .
Thank you for this inspiring post and hope you more beautiful moments and happy memories .Ramadan Mubarak 🤗
Thank you so much! And i would love to help if I can so you can ask away anytime 🙂
For my instagram feed I mostly use my iphone camera or a fujifilm XT10 series. For the photo itself I make sure its day light ( I either take shots outside or near a window) an thats the most important tip I can give, you need to make sure your source of light is natural and believe me it makes all the difference.
For the editing part I only use on app and its snapseed, I adjust the brightness and contrast, remove any dark areas/shadows using the selective tool and use one of their effects slightly according to the mood of the photo, if it was art content or sketchbook Id skip the last step. And thats it!
To be honest I do make much effort on the editing because its my least favorite part of photography 😅 always make sure to choose the right time to take photos and thats the most important thing!
I will consider writing a detailed blog post about the way I photograph my artworks and edit my personal photos, loved the suggestion 😃
Good luck💕
Thanks a lot, this was really helpful. I will try that ♥️😊
Glad I could help. Happy Ramadan to you and to your family 🌙✨
